Please follow the below mentioned steps for installing or checking all prerequisites required before installation of SharePoint 2016.
- Please locate the “prerequisiteinstaller” from your SharePoint 2016 package files and run the exe. (boxed red in the below picture) as “Run as administrator”
2. Now click on Next.
3. Accept license agreements and then press “Next”.
4. Now all these prerequisites will start installing in a row.
5.You will see this below mentioned information once all the prerequisites are installed. This will ask for a system restart. Please press finish and then your system would be restarted.
6. After the restart, you will find this prerequisites installer tool would start running again automatically.
7. Once all the prerequisites are installed properly, you will see this below window. Please click on “Finish” to complete the prerequisites’ installation.
If any of the prerequisites fails to update/install then follow the error link to get more details and try to correct those in your environment.
